School Caretaker

Based in Bradford

• 37 hours per week (PM shifts only)
• Part time options can be considered
• Primary School setting
• Temporary role with potential to turn permanent
• Salary based on £25,185 per year

Support the delivery of teaching and learning by ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety, hygiene and security are maintained at all times.

About the job:

• Assist in ensuring that all areas of the school buildings and grounds are clean and ready for use
• Security arrangements
• Maintaining good state of repair
• Reporting concerns to the Site Manager
• Key Holder duties
• General maintenance work
• Move and store supplies and waste
• Emergency contact for the school site
• Liaise with contractors
• Health and safety
• Monitor supplies
• Emergency cover
• Attend meetings
• Welfare of students

About you:

• Able to take pride in your work paying particular attention to detail
• Has the skills and experience to undertake general trade and maintenance tasks
• Able to take responsibility for being a key holder of the school building and grounds
• Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Able to work methodically to undertake recorded maintenance checks
