Nurture Lead
Starting after February half term 2022
Long term role with potential to be extended permanently
The nurture lead will be passionate about supporting our most vulnerable SEMH pupils' overall development, to positively impact on their school experience, future life chances and mental wellbeing.
Their main duties and responsibilities include:
-Building positive and healthy relationships with students to create an inclusive environment and encourage societal development
-Using conflict resolution and encouraging good behaviour
-Support the delivery of a nurture curriculum meeting the four key drivers for Quality of Education
-Assist the SENCO by accurately assessing students, including the use of Marjorie Boxall profiling to promote effective progress
-Support the creation of a bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of individuals
-Keep up to date with SEMH developments and reflect this in your practice
Candidates who register will be subject to Premier Education's stringent vetting procedures including referencing and DBS checks as well as a registration interview.
