About you:
- Have experience of project coordination
- ITIL foundation certification
- Qualification: Foundation Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APMP
- Have the confidence and knowledge to lead a team and ensure that service targets are being met and processes are followed
- Have excellent management skills
- Experience to manage and deliver managed IT services within a complex, multi-site organisation or IT service provider
- Able to train, develop, motivate, and mentor teams and support staff in concert with IT leadership
- Proven ability to manage interactions between other departments, internal teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge to lead large-scale complex IT service operation teams
- Able to analyse complex data / information and produce reports
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a local IT support team to ensure service targets are being met and processes are followed
- Support the Deputy Head of IT and other IT Team leaders to instil processes, quality of service and industry best practicesthroughout your service area
- Play a lead part in the IT management team and support the Deputy Head of IT in implementing processes
- Perform evaluations and create progression pathways of the local IT team to enable professional and service improvement
- Work with the infrastructure team to ensure project coordination is effective and timely
- Model leadership behaviours with confidence and get the very best from direct reports and teams by providing clarity, feedback, coaching, and development while continuously seeking to enhance performance
- Regularly meet with operations leads to conduct service performance reviews and response planning
- Report weekly and monthly KPIs to the Deputy Head of IT to show performance trajectory
- Ensure the IT Team implement health and safety at work concerning IT service operations activities
- Ensure IT systems, services and resources enable compliance with relevant standards / policies and meet associated criteria
- Identify, track, and highlight problems / incidents / delivery gaps within the service; build and manage remediation and escalate where necessary to drive positive outcomes
- Deliver effective incident management, problem management, change management and other ITIL lifecycle processes as required
