SCHOOL CLEANER

Macclesfield School

Part Time Hours 1-4pm 5 days a week ideally

Starting ASAP

Long term until the summer

Premier Education is currently working on behalf of an outstanding school in the Macclesfield area that is looking to appoint a school cleaner to start as soon as possible. The position is for a long-term role until the summer, with the opportunity for it to be extended further.

• Do you have experience working as a cleaner?
• Are you available for work up until at least July?
• Do you have a valid enhanced DBS certificate?

Key Duties:

• Supporting the school cleaning team in completing daily cleaning activities
• Ensuring classrooms, corridors and large spaces are kept clean and organised to the standard of the school
• Working efficiently and thoroughly with a team of professional cleaning staff
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors and stairs
• Emptying bins and removal or rubbish
• Cleaning doors and windows
• Reporting any hazards or spillages to the manager
• Cleaning of seating areas, desks and halls
• Cleaning of toilets areas and communal spaces

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE AN EXISTING DBS or ARE WILLING TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE 

About you:

• Reliable
• Punctual
• Thorough
• Team player
• Has an existing enhanced DBS certificate
• No prior professional cleaning experience required
