Nursery Nurse – Temporary

Location: High Lane and Offerton areas

Contract: Full-time and part-time, temporary

Premier Education is seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to work on a temporary basis in nurseries and early years settings across the High Lane and Offerton areas. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified childcare professionals who are passionate about supporting the development of young children in their early years.

We offer flexible day-to-day and short-term cover, and we are also expecting longer-term roles within our expanding network of nurseries and childcare providers.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0–5 years.

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.

• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.

• Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with staff and parents.

• Adhere to safeguarding procedures and follow EYFS statutory framework guidelines.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential).

• Previous experience working in an early years setting is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• A caring, proactive, and flexible approach to work.

• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s growth and development.

• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Pay:

From 13.68 per hr (dependent on experience and qualifications)
