Job Title: Part-time Nursery Nurse (Montessori)

Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday (flexible shifts available)

We are a Montessori nursery based near Wilmslow in Cheshire and we are currently seeking an experienced part-time Nursery Nurse to join our team. Our nursery is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years, where we encourage their natural curiosity and support their growth and development through the Montessori approach.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment for our children. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of staff, to plan and deliver activities and experiences that meet the individual needs of the children. You will also be responsible for:

Assisting with the setting up and clearing away of activities

Keeping accurate records of children's progress and development

Supporting children with their personal care needs

Liaising with parents and carers as required

The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of Level 2 Childcare qualification

Experience of working with children aged 2 to 5 years

A good understanding of the Montessori approach and its principles

Good communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

A positive attitude and a passion for working with young children
