Job Title: Outstanding Nursery Practitioner

Location: Central Stockport

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: Competitive

We are currently seeking an outstanding Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a well-established and highly-regarded nursery in Central Stockport. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children, and will have a genuine interest in child development.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring that their individual needs are met

To plan and deliver a stimulating and engaging curriculum, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework

To maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, and to share this information with parents and carers as appropriate

To ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean and welcoming, and that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to

To work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to promote the best outcomes for children.

Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework

A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursery setting

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
