Nursery Assistants – Level 2 or 3

Location: Macclesfield & Congleton
Start Date: September 2025 (or ASAP)
Contract: Flexible Supply Work (Full-Day Shifts)

Are you a caring, energetic, and reliable Nursery Assistant with a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification? We are working with a range of welcoming and well-regarded nurseries in the Macclesfield and Congleton areas who are looking for friendly and committed staff to support them on a supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for early years professionals seeking flexible work that fits around other commitments, or for those looking to gain a variety of experience across different settings.

About the Role

• Working in local private nurseries and early years settings

• Supporting children aged 0–5 in their learning, play, and development

• Assisting with daily routines, hygiene, snack/lunchtimes, and activities

• Following safeguarding and EYFS guidelines at all times

• Shifts available: 8:00am–5:00pm or 8:30am–5:30pm, depending on setting

Candidate Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare

• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting

• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

• A good understanding of safeguarding procedures

Pay

From £13.68 per hour (depending on experience and qualification level)
