1 to 1 teaching with a reception age child

·Valid Teaching Qualification with QTS

The main aspects of the role are:
• To provide support with all aspects of personal care including assisting with feeding and using the toilet.
• To support and facilitate change and transition along the journey to excellence
• To help with moving and handling so experience with hoists would be preferable.
• To be an active participant in supporting the timetable in all it's different contexts e.g. hydrotherapy, residential courses and other therapies / leisure facilities.
• Liaising with families, carers and others as necessary and with regard for the confidentiality required by the employer

Ideal Candidates will:
• Have a good level of written and spoken English
• Hold relevant experience / qualifications suited to supporting learners with additional needs
• Preferably have experience using hoists and effective manual handling techniques, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Be comfortable supporting young people will all aspects of personal care.
• Have experience working within an educational setting for learners with additional needs
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have knowledge of the needs of students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs

Science Teacher - 9 month paternity cover

Premier Education is currently working on behalf of an SEN provision in the Stockport area that is looking to appoint a Science Teacher to cover a 9 month paternity leave which starts at the beginning of March and is full time.

The role would require the candidate to teach small classes of mixed KS2, KS3 and KS4 students with Special Educational Needs in classes of up to 5 pupils.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working with pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs especially ASD and SEMH and have a proven track-record as a teacher specialising in Science. They are currently looking to recruit a full time teacher to work in a KS3 class as their main class teacher teaching a selection of subjects based on a primary model. The role is full time to start as soon as possible until Summer 2022.
