You can reach our Wilmslow and Bolton offices from 7.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 7.00am to 5.00pm on Friday. We are also open during school holidays between 9.00am and 3.00pm, and you can reach us on weekday evenings and at weekends through our out of hours service.

Supply cover is driven mainly by staff absence: sickness, training, maternity leave and the occasional unfilled vacancy. There are lots of reasons people choose supply and plenty of benefits to it. We will help you work out which type of work suits you best.

Yes. You choose exactly how many days a week you want. Placements range from half a day a week up to five days, a term, or longer.

Yes. We operate across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire, and we now work with a number of Bradford schools too. We have long standing relationships with schools right across those areas, and at interview you tell us exactly which ones you want to work in.

We have work available every day and will get you as much as you want. It helps enormously if you keep in touch regularly with your availability so we know what you are after.

That depends on the role. For teaching posts you need qualified teacher status. If you are considering becoming a teacher, look into the routes into teaching available nationally, or give us a call and we will point you in the right direction.

We recruit primary, secondary and special needs teachers, cover supervisors, support assistants, teaching assistants, higher level teaching assistants, nursery nurses and nursery assistants, on both temporary and permanent contracts in schools and nurseries.

We advise working on a voluntary basis first. We look for three to six months of experience in an environment where you are working with children aged 0 to 16.

There are several stages: an online registration form or an informal telephone interview, then a face to face interview which can take place in person at our Wilmslow office or by video link. We take checking and vetting very seriously whatever the role.

Get in touch and we will explain what is needed. We reactivate your file, though the process depends on how long you have been away. After a gap of more than three months we have to re-request documentation in line with safeguarding regulations.

No. There is no joining fee and no registration fee.

You are paid according to your qualifications and experience, and the details are confirmed to you in writing during your interview.

Tax and National Insurance are deducted from your wages each week and paid to the relevant authorities on your behalf.

Weekly, in arrears, on a Friday by BACS directly into your bank account.

Check the tax code on your payslip and contact the tax office directly. Your consultant will give you their details.

Decide which agency is getting you the most work, and make sure the tax office has that agency registered as your main employer.

Not as a rule, though at our discretion we can sometimes help towards a particularly long journey.
