The role would require the candidate to teach small classes of mixed KS2, KS3 and KS4 students with Special Educational Needs in classes of up to 5 pupils.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working with pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs especially ASD and SEMH and have a proven track-record as a teacher specialising in Science. Premier Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND provision in Manchester who are responsible for the education of children and young people aged 16 - 25 years old with disabilities, complex needs and autism.

The college is currently looking for learning support workers to start working with them in March, with an induction to the role to be held at the end of February / early March in advance of the start date.

As a Learning Support Worker for this provision you will be helping the pupils with their learning and ensuring they can access all of their activities during a college day. You would be expected to be comfortable providing personal care if required, working as part of a team and must have a solid understanding of working with those who have PMLD and Medical Needs.

• To provide support and guidance to the young people by removing barriers to learning
