Teaching Assistant/Personal Care Assistant ASAP Long term
Premier Education are working in partnership with a primary school in rural East Cheshire who are looking for someone to work alongside a reception age child who needs personal care. This is an outstanding role in a school everyone wants to go back to. The role is long term maybe to Xmas.
The main aspects of the role are:
To provide support with all aspects of personal care including assisting with nappy changing and using the toilet during the morning.
General teaching assistant duties in the afternoon.
Ideal Candidates will:
Have a good level of written and spoken English
Hold relevant experience / qualifications suited to supporting learners with additional needs
Be comfortable supporting young people will all aspects of personal care.
Have experience working within an educational setting for learners with additional needs
Be able to work as part of a team
Have knowledge of the needs of children in Reception age group
Have a thorough understanding of what constitutes effective support for students with learning difficulties
Due to the nature of the role - ALL CANDIDATES MUST HOLD A CHILD WORKFORCE DBS CERTIFICATE OR BE WILLING TO APPLY FOR ONE.
