Are you a qualified Drama Teacher looking for a secured long term placement?

Do you have experience delivering Drama in secondary schools?

Do you have UK Qualified Teacher Status?

We are delighted to be working with a leading secondary school in the North Leeds area who a seeking to appoint a skilled Teacher of Drama to join their faculty from January 2025 onwards. The role is available and in place until July 2025. This role is a part time role, working Tuesday to Thursday and there may be options for additional days work if the school require additional cover.

About the job:

• Delivering Drama to mostly KS3, some KS4
• Some English may be relevant as a cross-over in the Drama curriculum
• Working alongside a leading Performing Arts department
• State of the art facilities to work with
• Regular Drama performances and exciting opportunities to be involved with

About you:

• Must have QTS (ECTs welcome to apply)
• A proven track record in delivering Drama from Year 7 upwards
• Strong knowledge of the current curriculum
• Passionate and genuinely interested in your subject
• Interested in school performances and supporting students who excel in Drama and acting
• Able to work alongside a thriving department
• Kind, enthusiastic and professional
• Keen to make an impact
