Teacher of the Year Awards 2013

This year Premier Education presented two outstanding teachers with a Teacher of the Year Award. They both received a bouquet of flowers and an M&S voucher for their hard work and dedication and all nominees received a certificate and bouquet.

Premier Education’s Dan Bower was delighted to be able to present one of the awards to Victoria Callaghan. Victoria has been working on long term supply at Monton Green Primary School in Eccles through Premier Education. The school commented that Victoria has ‘always been professional and has built strong relationships with parents, pupils and staff’ and that time and time again she has proven that she is able to ‘exceed the expectations of the Senior Leadership Team’. Since receiving the award, we are very pleased to confirm that Victoria has been offered a permanent contract at Monton Green from September 2013 – proof indeed that supply work can be rewarding for all parties concerned and that the hard work and dedication Victoria has shown is recognised and rewarded by schools who use Premier’s supply teacher service.

David Quiligotti, from our Wilmslow office presented Cynthia Hill at Poynton High School with our other Teacher of the Year Award.

Cynthia has been working at Poynton High School since September 2012 teaching mathematics. In what was originally supposed to be a short term position, Cynthia excelled at the school and consequently was asked to stay on fulltime and is still teaching there now! Poynton have now asked Cynthia to come back in September which is testament to her efforts over this period.

When informed she had won, Cynthia was delighted to accept the award as secondary supply teacher of the year. Well done Cynthia!!
