Secondary Textiles Teacher - January 2019
Premier Education is working with a much improved Secondary School in the Trafford area, who are looking for a Textiles Teacher for two terms beginning in January 2019.
The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management, subject knowledge and have recent experience teaching Textiles to GCSE level. A passion for teaching and learning is essential.
The role is full-time and will run January until July. There will be a full teaching timetable which will include both KS3 and KS4 Classes. There will be an expectation with regards to attending CPD, planning meetings and parents evenings. The candidate will have to plan, teach and assess accordingly to the UK National Curriculum.
This Secondary School is a smaller than average setting that is based in Trafford. There is a friendly atmosphere throughout the school and there is a strong focus on personal development, behaviour and welfare. This is an exciting time for the school as as progress, behaviour and attendance are all on the up.

To be considered for this position you will need:
â¢ To hold UK QTS (with a Textiles);
â¢ Have excellent Classroom and Behaviour Management;
â¢ To be a specialist in teaching Textiles to GCSE;
â¢ Have recent experience of teaching Textiles KS3-4;
â¢ To have an excellent track record in previous roles;
