Established in 2001 Premier Education has quickly gained a reputation for the provision of quality supply teachers, teaching assistants and nursery nurses for temporary and permanent employment contracts.  We are large enough to be efficient and well-known but small enough to care.

 

Alistair McCrone   Managing Director

Alistair's business background was initially in farming where he helped to develop, organise and run a large farming enterprise in the Scottish Borders. He became interested in supply teaching recruitment through working with his sister who runs a successful agency in Newcastle and consequently Premier Education was founded in 2001.  Alistair has developed his own unique and approachable recruitment style and Premier has grown to become one of the North West's leading supply agencies..

Clare Bent   Operations Director

Having obtained a degree in English and her PGCE, Clare taught for some years in a variety of secondary schools. She then decided to move into education recruitment and subsequently, worked for a national company in Manchester before being recruited by Alistair to help set up Premier Education. Running a rapidly developing agency and a home with husband and young son keeps her fully occupied!

Daniel Bower  North West Development Manager

Having graduated from Middlesex University with a joint major in geography and economics,  Daniel returned to the North West to work in a number of recruitment roles in education, construction and industrial sectors, eventually running his own supply teacher agency.  Upon joining us our newest member of staff is charged with enhancing Premier's reputation for providing high quality temporary education staff to schools and nurseries in Manchester and Cheshire whilst developing new business opportunities in Lancashire.

Janine Ambrose   Secondary Consultant

Having lived and worked overseas for a number of years, Janine returned to the UK and joined the recruitment industry working in the commercial and industrial sector for 8 years before joining Premier Education.  Janine is delighted to be working in the education sector and will be responsible for all secondary schools covering Manchester, Cheshire and surrounding areas.  Janine is married with one daughter and loves spending time with her family.
