Types of work?
Supply cover is essentially driven by staff absence due mainly to sickness, training and maternity leave.
There are many reasons why people choose to work on a supply basis and there are many benefits to this kind of work.
At Premier Education we will help you to decide which type of work suits you best-it is our main objective to tailor our services to you and your exact requirements.
We can provide work throughout the following education sectors: Early Years, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Special Needs Schools.
We can provide the following positions: Primary teacher, Secondary teacher, Special Needs teacher, Cover Supervisor, Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Special Needs Assistant, Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse and Nursery Assistant.
We can provide the following types of temporary work : Emergency and Day to Day Cover, Short term placements and Maternity / Termly contracts. Placements can start from half a day a week and you can choose exactly how many days a week you wish to work and which days they will be. You can vary these days each week or stick to the same working pattern- it is entirely up to you. If you wish to work 5 days a week or require stability and will only consider long term placements such as termly work or maternity contracts then that is fine too- you tell us during your interview and we will do our best to suit your requirements.
You will also have a choice as to where you work and we have schools and nurseries in the following geographical locations within the North West: Manchester, Cheshire, Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale, Bolton, St Helens, Warrington, Wigan, Trafford and Tameside.
What can we offer?
- Friendly, Professional Consultants - when you register you will be assigned a consultant. It is our job to ascertain your exact requirements and to assist you in acquiring placements to suit your specific needs.
- Local work - Work can be arranged in a location to suit you. During your interview you will be asked where you wish to work, you can either choose by authority or distance.
- Great Pay, paid weekly - Rates of pay are determined by your level of experience and paid to you every Friday a week in arrears. Your tax, national insurance and holiday pay are all taken care of by our Payroll staff. Holiday pay is paid to you termly and you are able to see how much you have accumulated on your pay slip which you will also receive weekly.
- Free Training/Resources - Premier Education is dedicated to the ongoing professional development of our teachers and consequently offers free annual courses. The courses are tailored to suit the needs of our candidates. We also organise opportunities for our staff to meet one another. Access to resources are available on line and in our resource library which is located at our head office in Wilmslow.
