Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Spanish Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Spanish language and culture, with the ability to inspire and motivate students in their language learning journey.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.

Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of a diverse student population.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Spanish curriculum.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.

Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.

Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide professional development activities.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant degree in Spanish or a related field.

Proven experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the Spanish language and culture.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest teaching methodologies.

Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
