Premier Education is working with a wonderful nursery in the Northwich area who is currently looking for a Nursery Manager who is passionate about childcare for the day to day running of the setting.
The role is to start immediately and there is the option of variable shift patterns to suit individual requirements.
Our client is looking for a Level 3 qualified and enthusiastic individual who either has experience of leading a room in a nursery setting, a qualified early years teacher with EYTS/QTS or someone with previous nursery management experience. As the manager you will work as a key member of the team supporting with staff management, dealing with parents and enquiries as well as getting stuck in with delivering a mixture of EYFS methods as well as catering to the daily needs of children aged 0-5 years old.

Job Title: Nursery Manager
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of nursery operations, including plant care, inventory management, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize plant health and growth
- Supervise a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of plants and materials
- Assist customers with plant selection, provide expert advice on plant care, and address any concerns or issues
- Manage the sales process, including pricing, invoicing, and payment collection
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies to drive sales
Experience:
- Previous experience in a nursery or horticulture-related field is required
- Strong knowledge of plant care techniques, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and address their needs
- Proficient in using nursery management software or inventory management systems
