CRB Disclosures
CRB disclosures are often a legal requirement for people working in regular direct contact with children or with vulnerable adults and in positions of trust. This not only includes teaching staff and care-workers but also dozens of other employment positions where confidence and reliability are paramount.
This might include marketing representatives, installation engineers, delivery drivers, entertainers - in short, any employees who may, through the normal course of their work come into direct or indirect contact with children or vulnerable adults either in, or outside, the premises they are visiting.
Officially endorsed by the Criminal Records Bureau as a Registered Umbrella body, Premier Education is empowered by the CRB to assist in the processing of such third party applications.
As your Umbrella organization, we supply the necessary number of disclosure forms for completion, the majority of which can be done by the applicant before returning them to Premier to complete the identity and address checks and provide the counter-signatories.
We provide all the back-up support needed in terms of the form's completion, the information needed to secure from employees (existing or future) and the kinds of evidence of identity, referees etc that have to be included on the form. We also advise on whether a Standard or Enhanced disclosure is required in each instance.
We provide a comprehensive, confidential, efficient and cost effective service. We supply peace of mind with regards to a potential candidate's suitability for a job and for existing staff, another string to your marketing bow when you are able to inform your clients that your work-force is CRB cleared.
The CRB's Standard Disclosure currently costs £26.00 and may take between 2 and 4 weeks to process. The Enhanced Disclosure costs £44 and normally takes 4 - 6 weeks to process. In both instances, Premier adds an administration charge of £18 per application including VAT. For numerous checks and re-checks over time, we may offer discounted packages.
